Laboratory Investigation of Reclaimed Asphalt Mixtures Containing Cyclogen and Vacuum Bottom Rejuvenators

The use of reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP) to create recycled mixture is attracting great interest because landfill space decrease and natural resources saving. Also, incorporating rejuvenators an effective method promote the utilization RAP materials in hot mix (HMA) production. main goal this study was evaluate effect Cyclogen vacuum bottom (VB) on performance mixtures against moisture sensitivity, rutting resistance, tensile strength. In regard, were constructed with different contents (0, 35, 70% by weight) virgin aggregates. Furthermore, three 5, 10%) VB 15, 30%) weight binder used. laboratory test results revealed that enhanced indirect strength, sensitivity samples. Moreover, increasing content improved resistance permanent deformations addition also resilient modulus strength samples; increase subject applied. characteristics showed adding decreased modulus, strain creep increased mixtures.
